  Shadowing a CRNA: how to find opportunities and what to look for

  Most programs require or strongly recommend shadowing with a CRNA. This thread is for sharing how you found opportunities.

  I have been struggling since most hospitals have policies against external observers. So far I have tried emailing CRNA supervisors directly, asking my manager, and LinkedIn outreach.

  For those who secured shadowing:
  1. How did you actually get the opportunity?
  2. How many hours did you end up with?
  3. What aspects should you specifically observe and note for your interview?

  Sharing outreach scripts or specific insights from your shadowing would help a lot of people here.
