• How many months of ICU experience did you have when you applied?

One of the most common questions from CRNA applicants: programs list 1-2 years as minimums, but what are successful applicants actually bringing to the table?

I am at 16 months in a MICU and trying to decide whether to apply this cycle or wait. Questions for those who have been through it:

    1. How many months of ICU did you have at application?
    2. What type of ICU – MICU, CVICU, SICU, NCCU?
    3. Did programs comment on your experience level during interviews?

Would love to hear from people who applied with under 2 years AND got in, and from those who waited longer. All experiences welcome!
