Are online/hybrid CRNA programs viewed differently by employers?
Considering hybrid CRNA programs because of family obligations but worried about how a hybrid degree is perceived by employers – especially large academic medical centers.
Programs I am considering with online components:
– University of New England
– Bryan College of Health Sciences
– Several others with hybrid didacticQuestions:
1. Has your hybrid program background ever come up in job interviews?
2. Do any employers seem concerned about the online format?
3. Are Level 1 trauma centers more likely to care about this?
4. Was the clinical component strong enough in a hybrid format?Want to end up in tertiary care, so any advice on programs to prioritize or avoid for that goal would be very helpful.
